Great Wyrm Theodorix is a Field boss in Elden Ring. This lizard-type dragon is one of the few you will face in Mountaintops of the Giants. Great Wyrm Theodorix resembles Magma Wyrm Makar in many aspects, such as appearance and moveset. As this boss is scaled for the end game, approaching it early on can prove to be troublesome.

Great Wyrm Theodorix is located beneath the Albinauric Rise in Consecrated Snowfields. After riding to the East, you will find the Cave of Forlorn and, outside it, the dragon sleeping. The boss is completely optional and will not affect any ending in the game whatsoever. The area around the boss is filled with Giant Crabs and Giant Octopi. Defeating the boss will earn you 180,000 Runes and three Dragon Hearts. You will also unlock a new Draconic power in the Cathedral of Dragon Communion located in Caelid.

The boss has the same moveset as Magma Wyrm Makar that you face in Ruin-Strewn Precipice in Liurnia of the Lakes. The only considerable difference between the bosses is their health. As you face Great Wyrm Theodorix later on in the game, it has a higher health bar.
