The Flowing Curved Sword is a late-game weapon found in the hidden area of the Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring. According to its description, there is a legend about a swordmaster in blue who wields a sword resembling flowing water.
Elden Ring: How To Get Hoarfrost Stomp Ash Of War
The Flowing Curved Sword scales mostly with dexterity and moderately with strength. And like most weapons in Elden Ring, Ashes of War can be added to the Flowing Curved Sword. Having a wide range of attacks to choose from gives the sword an advantage over other Curved Swords.
The Flowing Curved Sword can be found southwest of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Lost Grace, Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring.
From the Inner Consecrated Snowfield bonfire, head southwest in the snowy field until two giant Trolls can be seen. These giants are chained to a wagon and are tasked to drag it across the area. Other than that, there are also multiple enemies following the caravan and protecting it from behind.
A chest located inside the wagon holds the Flowing Curved Sword. The box can't be opened while the snowy Trolls are moving the caravan, thus the first step is to stop the giants from doing so. Players can either attack the giant's legs to make it kneel or keep hitting until the giant fall to the ground and stop moving.
After that, climb the caravan and open the chest to get the Flowing Curved Sword. Note that the enemies might go berserk and kill players before they can reach the chest, so defeat as many of the enemies protecting the caravan as possible.
It's not a good idea to attempt to get the Flowing Curved Sword during the night because, along with the herd of small enemies, two Night Cavalry will follow behind the caravan.
