Fia is the Deathbed Companion in Elden Ring. She's first encountered at the Roundtable Hold, in the chamber behind Smithing Master Hewg. She will ask players to hug her and will then grant Baldachin's Blessing. However, the Deathbed Companion won't stay there forever. After Elden Ring players have defeated two Shardbearers, Fia's questline will begin.
It's worth nothing though that although Fia and Ranni's questlines are not directly related, players will still need to advance to a certain point in Ranni's quest so that Tarnished can give Fia the Cursemark of death and find Nokron, the Eternal City.
Elden Ring: How To Leave Roundtable Hold
Fia's questline will be triggered upon beating two Shardbearers (like Godrick the Grafted and Rennala Queen of the Full Moon). While embracing her, a new dialogue will unlock. She'll give Tarnished a broken dagger and ask them to deliver it to its rightful owner. They can then give it to D, Hunter of the Dead, who's sitting on a chair next to the Roundtable.
After handing over the dagger, players should reload the Roundtable Hold and head to the closed door behind Smithing Master Hewg and Rodrika. There, Fia is hovering over D's corpse. She'll speak a bit before disappearing, after which, players should be sure to grabe D's Twinned Armor Set from his body.
