After arriving at the Siofra River Bank Site of Grace in Elden Ring's subterranean region of Siofra River, players will notice a central stairwell lined by pillars nearby. The stairs lead to a long path with a beastly carcass lying at the end. These remains serve as the entrance which teleports the Tarnished to a boss fight arena where they will confront the Ancestor Spirit in Elden Ring. Slaying this optional boss will reward players with 13,000× Runes and Ancestral Follower Ashes.
Ancestral Follower Ashes is a powerful Summoning Spell in Elden Ring that conjures the spirit of an Ancestral Follower, an NPC that wields a heavy bow to take down enemies from afar. Such a spell could prove to be of great use to a variety of builds, especially melee builds that would benefit from cover fire. Therefore, defeating the Ancestor Spirit in battle will undoubtedly be challenging, yet the rewards are worth the effort. To face this mighty foe, players must first light all eight Flame Pillars that align the stairwell to the boss lair's entrance in Siofra River.

The first Pillar of Flame sits directly between the Site of Grace at the Siofra River Bank and the staircase. To light it, Tarnished only need to interact with the brazier at the foot of the obelisk. To find the second pillar, turn left, run past the giant hostile crab, and travel uphill. The Flame Pillar is located at the top of the hill, yet players should be cautious as they approach it, as angry Minotaur spirits will be guarding the area.
The third Flame Pillar in Siofra River can be found northeast of the first. Fortunately, no Minotaurs should be guarding it. From here, head further to the northwest until reaching
