Microsoft's cloud and AI group finance leader Chris Suh will replace Blake Jorgensen as EA's chief financial officer on March 1, 2022.
Jorgensen joined EA in 2012 but last year announced plans to step down as CFO and COO after helping the publisher through a transitional process.
EA has now confirmed the outgoing CFO will remain at the company until the summer to assist with the reshuffle and "special projects."
After taking over the role, Suh will report to EA chairman and chief exec Andrew Wilson, and will be responsible for EA's accounting, financial planning and analysis, fiscal reporting, investor relations, global audit, payroll, SEC reporting, tax, and treasury functions.
Suh has worked at Microsoft for over 25 years, four of which have been spent overseeing the company's cloud and AI division as CVP and CFO.
Prior to that, he held other senior roles including general manager of investor relations and senior director of worldwide licensing and pricing.
"Chris is an exceptionally qualified leader joining us as we accelerate and transform our business for a socially-connected, cloud-enabled future," commented Wilson. "I look forward to having Chris as a strategic partner, bringing his extensive experience driving scale and growth to help us achieve our goals."
