Remember at the start of this month when we told you that Dungeons of Dreadrock was launching later this month? Well, it’s now later this month, and Dungeons of Dreadrock has launched on the Play Store.
The game is a love-letter to old-school dungeon crawlers, albeit with a shifted up perspective that sees you staring down on the adventuring from above.
That twist makes things play more like a puzzler than anything else. You need to be careful where you move, watch out for traps and enemies and try and make your way through 100 hand-crafted levels.
There are no roguelite elements here – it’s you and the dungeons, and if you die you start over like you did in the olden times. There’s a definite retro charm here, as well as a decent challenge you’re going to need to have your wits about you to overcome.
Dungeons of Dreadrock is available right this second, and you can grab it from the Play Store by clicking here. The game is free to download, with a one-off IAP to get rid of the adverts.
