Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has announced a second season pass that will include a Bardock Saga DLC, set to release in 2023. Since its launch in 2020, CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco have continued to support Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the single-player RPG reimagining the events of the Dragon Ball Z portion of Akira Toriyama's iconic manga Dragon Ball. Since launch, it has received DLC based on content following Dragon Ball Z's story such as Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, and now it has been announced that it will receive a Bardock: The Father of Goku DLC in 2023 as part of a second season pass.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot first released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2020, and is an action-RPG. The game was supported with healthy post-launch content in 2020, such as the Battle of Gods inspired DLC A New Power Awakens Part 1, and the Resurrection F inspired A New Power Awakens Part 2. In 2021, it received an original story inspired by the anime The History of Trunks titled Trunks: The Warrior of Hope.
