The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 is in full swing on Hulu as the tension grows between June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) and Serena Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) in the wake of Commander Waterford’s (Joseph Fiennes) murder. In the first three episodes of the season, we've seen Serena prepare for his funeral, June continue to fight to get her daughter back, and major character Emily exit the show.
The drama looks set to continue into season 5, episode 4. Details are light but we do have a new episode title: 'Dear Offred'. Of course, Offred was June's name in Gilead before her escape so this could be setting up an alliance with one of the handmaids still under the oppressive regime. While we don't know much else yet, we've broken down when the next episode of the show will be available to make sure you don't miss a moment.
However, just a quick note on international release dates – there's currently no UK release date for The Handmaid's Tale season 5. But rest assured, we’ve done a deep dive into previous seasons for our best guess at when the show might release wherever you’re watching from.
The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 is airing weekly on Hulu in the US. Episode 4 will be released on the streaming platform on Wednesday, September 28 at 12am ET. Canada will also release episode 4 on Wednesday, September 28 at 9pm ET on the CTV Drama channel.
Viewers in Ireland will have to wait a bit longer as the series premiere is only aired on RTÉ2 at 10:35pm on Wednesday, September 21. It's not confirmed yet, but episode 4 will likely only drop on Wednesday, October 12 as a result.
