Dragon Ball: The Breakers is looking to be one of the more unique games that is being developed for the franchise, after a slew of fighting games and RPGs that fans are familiar with. However, Bandai Namco and Dimps' latest game is a take on the asymmetrical multiplayer genre, with the Dragon Ball cast instead.
This is emphasized by having one group of seven players be ordinary citizens, who are pursued by one player who is playing as one of Dragon Ball's most iconic antagonists. The ones that have already been confirmed are Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu.

The Breakers showed some of Frieza's gameplay earlier last week, emphasizing him as the intimidating galactic tyrant that fans are familiar with during the Namek Saga. This trailer also announced a release date for the game, October 14, alongside a closed Network Test that fans can sign up for.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers' network test will be available to a randomly selected amount of participants who have signed up for it. They will receive an email closer to the Network Test's date, where these players will be given a portion of the game to play.
During this period, the testers will be playing to stress test the game's servers, with the technical verifications of the online systems being examined on a large scale. These sessions will be taking place over the August 5-6 weekend. The following times will show players when they can participate.
