BioWare is soon releasing a statue based on the beloved Dragon Age: Inquisition tarot cards. Many Dragon Age fans wished to own the cards which appear throughout Dragon Age: Inquisition, and now there's a chance to become closer to that dream.
A significant part of Dragon Age: Inquisition's art direction consists of various tarot cards. These designs represent the various characters, factions, and player characters throughout the game. Those who pre-ordered theInquisitor's Edition back in the day were among the lucky few who could actually own a full physical deck of the tarot cards. The art style has been very popular ever since inspiring countless art pieces within the Dragon Age fandom, and those fans who only own the game still wish they could have the actual tarot cards in their possession.
Dragon Age Inquisition Lead Writer Shares Details of Original Playable Post-Credits Scene
Although this brand-new merchandise from BioWare is not the full deck of cards, it's built around one of them. The card in question is «The Sun,» which portrays Varric Tethras playing cards in The Hanged Man, Kirkwall's tavern. The hand-painted statue, which is nearly 20 cm in height, comes with the entire scenery, showing Varric at his own table, leaning back in his chair. The table is cluttered with cards, cups, and coins and is full of delicate details. This limited-edition statue only has 1,500 individually-numbered pieces and fans can order it in two waves. The first wave is expected to deliver in May 2023, whereas the second one should arrive in November 2023. Those Dragon Age: Inquisition fans who are interested will be able to buy the statue for $125.
