Dragon Age: Dreafwolf's Solas and the MCU's take on Tony Stark/Iron Man are not two characters who come to mind at the same time. One is an ancient Elf hellbent on restoring his People to the former glory, while the latter is a genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist in a highly-advanced suit. Iron Man's storyline in the MCU is perhaps the most iconic, as when he snaps his finger, destroys Thanos and his army, and iterates his last witty one-liner, he dies a hero.
Many, however, have often argued (sometimes jokingly, sometimes not) that Iron Man is often the villain of the MCU. It's not that he intends to be, but that he has a tendency to make good decisions that have bad results. In fact, that's pretty much the entire plotline of Solas inDragon Age: Inquisition, and comeDragon Age: Dreadwolf, it's just one more decision made for the right reasons likely to go horribly, horribly wrong.
