Battlefield 2042 is ditching the campaign this time around, instead going for an all-multiplayer game, and developer DICE is even allowing for 128-player matches in certain modes. With that many players, however, will Battlefield 2042 have cross-play so you can enjoy the game with those on other systems, or will you be stuck only playing with those on the same one you own? Well, the answer isn't so simple.
