While plenty of Disney-owned properties are heavily featured in video games, a la Marvel and Star Wars, core Disney characters themselves often appear much fewer and farther between. This is soon to change, however, with Disney Speedstorm, an upcoming racing game which has begun to reveal its roster of characters.
Developed by Gameloft, the same creators of the Asphalt mobile racing series, Disney Speedstorm was first announced during the Nintendo Direct back in February. The title was announced via a teaser trailer, which showcased several of the iconic Disney and Pixar characters and locales players will be able to experience.

Billed as a hero-based battle racing game, Disney Speedstorm has already confirmed a variety of characters from various Disney and Pixar franchises, including Mickey Mouse, Pirates of the Caribbean's Jack Sparrow, Mulan, Sully from Monsters Inc., Goofy, and Donald Duck. It is now being confirmed that Baloo, the lovable bear from The Jungle Book, is part of the roster. The reveal was made via Disney Speedstorm's official Twitter account, which includes a short clip of Baloo dancing.
Baloo is the latest Brawler to be revealed for the roster, with the only other Brawler confirmation currently being Donald Duck. Disney Speedstorm features four distinct character classes, each with their own unique set of skills: Brawler, Trickster, Speedster, and Defender. While what those skills exactly consist of have yet to be revealed, each character's stats will be completely upgradeable.
