Following Destiny 2's recent Witch Queen expansion, the game's servers are pushed to capacity. Developer Bungie had promised the DLC for its long-running online shooter for a while now. Originally set to be released in 2021, the Witch Queen expansion finally released on February 22, 2022. Though Destiny 2 players are excited for the new content, some players are having trouble accessing the game's servers.
Destiny 2 has been out for several years, having first launched in 2017, but routine updates and added campaigns have kept long-time players enthralled and new players interested. Though many of these bonus campaigns must be purchased to access their content, many players find the content worth the price. With the release of new campaigns, players are often given buffs to prepare them for completing the campaigns. In fact, Destiny 2 developer Bungie announced a couple of days ago that players would receive a buff coinciding with Witch Queen's release. Bungie bumped the game's power floor up to 1350 for both active and inactive players, offering them a nice buff before they plan to take on the Witch Queen's villain Savathûn. Players will need to get through quite a bit of the campaign and some end-game material to hit the 1500 soft-cap, and they will need to raid to reach the 1560 power hard-cap.

As reported by Gamepur, Destiny 2's servers have reached capacity upon the release of the new Witch Queen expansion.
