With the release of Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2, Destiny players were finally able to get their hands on some new weapons to test and play with. That being said, not all guns are made equal and there are some rolls that are definitely more sought after than the rest. Firefright is a 450 RPM Kinetic Auto Rifle. Auto rifles haven’t had the best history in terms of being good weapons for both PvE and PvP alike. Firefright’s 450 RPM doesn’t help it out much either in terms of it being on the slower rates of fire. That being said, it can roll with some pretty interesting perks.
Threat Detector + Surrounded/ Adagio: This is a roll if you want to use this Auto Rifle like a Submachine Gun. Threat Detector gives reload speed while near enemies and Surrounded gives damage. Pretty simple combo. Adagio can also be a pretty nice damage increase for this weapon, but considering its already slow fire rate might make the gun feel a tad sluggish.
Fourth Times The Charm + Focused Fury: If players are sharpshooters and can land a bunch of precision hits in a row, this can yield some fantastic results. Fourth Times The Charm giving more magazine size and Focused Fury granting damage. This is a nice roll if players can control the recoil of the gun and hit precision hits consecutively.
Tears of Contrition is a 180 RPM Kinetic Scout Rifle. Scouts have had their place in higher-end content all throughout Destiny 2’s lifespan with Grandmasters being a favorite. This particular Scout Rifle could definitely see use due to some of its fantastic perks.
