Ashley Barrett deleted revealing Maeve footage in The Boys season 3 finale, indicating a shift in her allegiance. Colby Minfie's character in The Boys received a more prominent role in The Boys season 3 once Stan Edgar was removed as Vought's CEO. Homelander (Antony Starr) essentially took control of the Supe powerhouse, but Ashley was the one who was publically appointed as Vought's new CEO. Her newfound power and fear of losing it meant a great allegiance to Homelander, no matter what the unhinged and all-powerful Supe wanted.
The Boys season 3 ending includes plenty of major revelations that will be important for the show's future, as the series wraps up certain arcs and teases new ones. Most of these teases come after the conclusion of the final Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) fight. Although Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) originally fought alongside Vought's original Supe to try and kill Homelander, they both turned once Soldier Boy presented himself as an even bigger threat to those they cared about. This led to Maeve tackling Soldier Boy out the window, leading to both of their presumed deaths.

However, The Boys season 3 confirms that Maeve and Soldier Boy both survived this encounter. One of the more intriguing pieces of fallout, though, comes with Ashley Barrett. Vought's newly appointed CEO is shown seeing footage of The Boys finding Maeve in an ally. In a surprising move, Ashley deletes the Maeve footage from Vought's archives.
