Destiny 2's Season of the Haunted is one of the most impressive seasonal releases in the game because of its scale, which is much bigger than regular Seasons thanks to the addition of the derelict Leviathan as a new Patrol zone. There was also a massive weapon overhaul sandbox patch that was released alongside Season of the Haunted, as Bungie tried to differentiate airborne gameplay and the ability to resist enemy fire by allowing players to spec either into Airborne Effectiveness or Flinch.
