A demo from 2001 for the unannounced Gex Jr. has found its way online.
It's been a rough decade or so for Gex fans. Despite the popularity of the first three games, no-one has bothered with the wise-cracking gecko since, leaving vague trademarks as the only hint that Square Enix even remembers who he is.

As it turns out, that trilogy was supposed to be a quadrology, as a 2001 demo for the unannounced Gex Jr. has been shared online. It's not clear how it's managed to go unrevealed for so long, but a small chunk of the project is now available to play online.
