Any development cycle usually comes with its own setbacks, and Deliver Us Mars is no different. However, this news may be a blessing in disguise for the upcoming indie Sci-Fi action adventure game published by Frontier Developments.
Deliver Us Mars is a sequel to Deliver Us The Moon, and is currently in development by KeokeN Interactive. The game is a puzzle solving and platforming adventure that will take advantage of Unreal Engine 4 to create otherworldly landscapes for players to enjoy. Deliver Us Mars will be a game that focuses on a team of astronauts that are tasked with gathering necessary resources from Mars needed to save Earth. Players were originally hoping to be tasked with this epic outer space mission on September 27th, 2022. However, the message relayed from the game’s development team says that the previous date has now been pushed back.

The Deliver Us Mars team took to Twitter to express that the game has been delayed from September 27 to February 2, 2023. KeokeN Interactive said that the extra 4+ months are needed to make the best game possible, as Deliver Us Mars is the team's most ambitious project yet. As a result, Deliver Us Mars will join the growing list of delayed games releasing in 2023.
However, this news does not come without its own silver lining. KeokeN Interactive also took the time to let its community know that players will see a fresh look of the game at the Future Games Show on August 24 at Gamescom. It is said to be a new trailer that should hopefully tide over fans that were excited to dive into the space journey in September.
