December 2022’s free PlayStation Plus Essential games have been revealed by their usual leaker.
Dealabs user billbil-kun, who has been accurately leaking the PS Plus line-ups almost every month since September 2021, has revealed what they claim to be the new titles coming to the service in December.
The new batch of games reportedly includes Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Biomutant.
According to billbil-kun, the games available from December 6, 2022 to January 3, 2023 will be:
PlayStation Plus Essential is the new name for the base PS Plus subscription service, where players get access to a few ‘free’ games every month.
Players can continue to play these games even after they’re no longer available to claim at the end of the monthly period, as long as they continue to subscribe to PlayStation Plus Essential (or a higher tier).
Once their subscription ends, they’ll no longer be able to play these games until they re-subscribe.
November’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are still available to claim until December 6. These are Nioh 2 (PS5/PS4), Lego Harry Potter Collection 2 (PS4) and Heavenly Bodies (PS5 / PS4).
November also sawa number of new titles added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics selections for subscribers on higher tiers.
These included the full Kingdom Hearts series, Skyrim Special Edition, What Remains of Edith Finch and five Ratchet & Clank games.
