If it wasn't enough for Deathstroke to be one of the most cold and calculating killers in the DC Universe, he may also have the best design that just doesn't get enough love. Nothing shows off Slade Wilson's unique fashion better than a pair of upcoming covers by artist Mikel Janín.
Since his earliest days stalking and terrorizing the Teen Titans, the design of the mercenary has remained relatively unchanged. Clad in chainmail, strapped with guns and a bandolier of bullets, and of course, his iconic orange and black mask, his very image is synonymous with tactical brilliance and lethality. Deathstroke's outfit is so core to his character, it's largely remained the same even when adapted to movies, television shows and cartoons. As one of the best killers in the DCU, Slade's costume shows how seriously he takes his work.

A couple of upcoming covers for Deathstroke Inc. really show off how amazing Wilson's costume is. As Deathstroke prepares for his own «Year One» storyline, artist Mikel Janín shows off Slade's classic outfit on the cover of Deathstroke Inc. #10. Armed to the teeth, the mercenary strikes a killer pose in his classic outfit as he swings a sword, the loose ends of his mask flapping behind him. Janín hits it out of the park with Deathstroke Inc. #11 as well, expertly using the split face imagery of Deathstroke's costume to display the two sides of the rogue. The calm blue side shows off the methodical thinking Slade Wilson and the intense orange side displays Deathstroke ready to earn his paycheck.
