Cult actor Danny Trejo will appear in OlliOlli World, it’s been confirmed.
The 77-year-old actor, who has more than 250 film credits to his name including Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn and Grindhouse, will appear as an NPC in the colourful skateboarding game.
Trejo will be hidden somewhere in the game’s setting of Radlandia, and if players can find him they’ll be given a side quest.
Players who complete the side quest will receive a special cosmetic item which can be applied to their character.
Trejo also recently appeared in free DLC for Far Cry 6, which contains two missions starring Trejo as himself rather than a character.
In the first mission, titled Danny & Danny vs Everybody, players team up with the Machete star to fight Antón Castillo’s forces, who are trying to stop Trejo making tacos to feed the hungry.
When this mission is completed a new Special Operation (the game’s sixth and final one) is unlocked, in which Trejo helps students protesting Castillo’s military.
OlliOlli World is the sequel to UK developer Roll7’s 2014 skateboarding game OlliOlli and its 2015 sequel OlliOlli 2. The game is due for release on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC on February 8.
Whereas its predecessors sported a more retro, pixel art look, World has a new cartoon-like appearance with characters and backgrounds reminiscent of animated series like Adventure Time and Steven Universe.

“It remains to be seen how lengthy the single-player campaign is, and whether some of its later tasks will
