Netflix has listed the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime to begin streaming on September 13. The series offers a standalone ten-episode story created by Studio Trigger in cooperation with CD Projekt Red.
The exact streaming date of September 13 for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners appeared briefly on Netflix's official website, but is currently hidden with a standard 'Coming Soon' placeholder displayed at the time of writing. Perhaps, the official announcement will happen in the coming days alongside the new trailer for the show.

Earlier, Netflix confirmed the series would debut this September, but no exact date has been officially announced. It seems that much welcome return to the dystopian metropolis of Night City is now less than a month away.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners introduces a new protagonist, David Martinez, an ordinary street kid who happens to become a mercenary outlaw, which we all know is among the few ways to survive a harsh life in the body modification-obsessed city. The story follows David and his fellow Edgerunners as they oppose the other gangs of Night City in the pursuit of wealth and glory.
From the previous footage, it's a pretty safe bet to expect plenty of Cyberpunk 2077's signatures to appear in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. From the neon advertisement banners for Arasaka and Kiroshi to the vicious Maelstrom Gang and those edgy motorcycle silhouettes, your thirst for more Night City adventures should be satisfied very soon.
