One Cyberpunk 2077 player may have accidentally crafted a Night City version of Hugh Jackman while coming up with the perfect look for their playable V using the game's character creator. Jackman has taken on many roles throughout his long and memorable career, but sci-fi and comic book fans will know him most for his lengthy run as Wolverine in the Fox-produced X-Men films. He even voiced Logan in 2009’s X-Men Origins Wolverine tie-in video game, which many players felt was superior to the ill-fated movie it was based on due to truly embracing the darker and more violent aspects of the famously hot-blooded Canadian mutant — something that Insomniac is looking to recapture in the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 puts players in the role of V, an aspiring Netrunner looking to make a name for themselves on the gritty streets of Night City. Players can customize virtually every aspect of V, such as their appearance, their cybernetic enhancements, and even their backstory — though this last feature isn’t quite as impactful to Cyberpunk 2077’s overall narrative as CDPR promised in the run-up to the game’s controversial launch back in 2020. Hence, some Cyberpunk 2077 fans have set out to model their playable avatar after characters from other popular games, such as Aloy from the recently released Horizon Forbidden West and even Ciri from The Witcher 3 in Cyberpunk 2077.
