Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.06 patch is out now across PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Dubbed the “Edgerunners Update,” it adds content themed after the upcoming Netflix show.
Players now have access to a wardrobe, which lets them change outfits without losing the perks of the armor they like wearing — it’s Cyberpunk’s version of transmogrification. You can get dressed up and take on a trio of new gigs: Concrete Cage Trap, Desperate Measures, and Nasty Hangover. There are also six new firearms and five new melee weapons (see their names and types in the Cyberpunk blog post). The rest of the new content includes Edgerunners gear, a Witcher 3-themed Roach Race arcade game, and Nibbles the cat appearing in photo mode.
The other important addition to this update is cross-progression. Saves can now be uploaded to the cloud and continued on other platforms. It’s a necessary step, considering this also happens to be the final update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. CD Projekt Red’s focus is on Phantom Liberty, a major expansion that will release sometime in 2023.
