Cuba Gooding Jr. has pleaded guilty in a forcible touching case involving three separate women. Gooding Jr. is best known for his role in the hit 1996 film Jerry Maguire, starring opposite Tom Cruise, but has appeared in a host of other popular films, including Snow Dogs, Radio, American Gangster, and Selma. In addition to his roles in film, Gooding Jr. has also been featured in hit TV shows, including American Crime Story, in which he played OJ Simpson, and American Horror Story.
The 54-year-old actor was arrested in 2019 on charges of misdemeanor forcible touching and sexual abuse after a woman claimed Gooding Jr. squeezed her breast without consent. Several other women also came forward with accusations against Gooding Jr. in the months following his arrest, with the total number of accusers now above 20 with incidents dating back nearly two decades. Gooding Jr. is also involved in another lawsuit alleging that he raped a woman in 2013, a claim he staunchly denies.

In a new report from THR, Gooding Jr. is confirmed to have pleaded guilty to one count of forcible touching in a case covering three instances of unwanted advances. The incidents are said to have occurred in 2018 and 2019 in nightclubs and restaurants in Manhattan. Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to only one of the incidents, which involved inappropriate touching at the LAVO nightclub in 2018.
