Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Announced for Release This Year
Even though there are plenty of role-playing games out there that earn huge followings, there aren't many that have managed to obtain the same popularity that Final Fantasy 7 has specifically. For the last 25 years, the story of Cloud and his companions has captivated players, and players have waited quite a while for news on the next Final Fantasy 7 Remake title. While fans finally have an idea of when they can continue their adventure in FF7R, they had another big surprise. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 is being remade at last.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 was a game on the PSP that was released to celebrate FF7's 10th anniversary in 2007. It let players experience the story of just what happened to Cloud Strife and Zack Fair through Zack's perspective as he learned various truths about the Shinra Corporation and Sephiroth's ties to Jenova. The game hasn't been re-released in any form since its first launch and was notably absent on PS Plus Premium's downloadable library.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2: Rebirth Gets New Teaser Trailer and Release Window
As part of the FF7 25th Anniversary Celebration Livestream, series loyalists were in for an unexpected surprise as Crisis Core is being remade after being left on the PSP for roughly 15 years. To make the surprise even better for fans, those interested won't have to wait long as the newly titled Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is due to release sometime this winter.
This updated version of CCFF7 comes with brand-new voice acting using the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake cast, with new 3d models and graphics to improve the experience.
