Cory Barlog has said that God of War Ragnarok news will be shared "at the earliest possible moment" and confirmed once again that it's not been delayed out of 2022.
Last week,gaming insider The Snitch teased that God of War Ragnarok news was planned to be released today, July 30. Although several sources have since confirmed that isn't happening anymore, God of War fans have impatiently been bothering director Cory Barlog about when to expect news for the game.

In response, Barlog has shared a Tweet asking fans to be patient while waiting for news and that something will be released "at the earliest possible moment". He said, "Dear all, if it were up to me I would share all the information when I know about it. but it is not up to me. So please, be patient. I promise things will be shared at the earliest possible moment they can be. We make games for you. we get to make games because of you."
Barlog also reconfirmed to fans that God of War Ragnarok hasn't been delayed out of 2022. One Twitter user claimed that we should all just get over the fact that Ragnarok has been delayed, to which Barlog replied, "because its not", reconfirming once again that Ragnarok is slated for a release later this year. Reports have suggested that the release month is currently set for November, although that hasn't been confirmed just yet.
Although Barlog has confirmed that no Rangarok news is coming today, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier has claimed that there were indeed some plans for something to be revealed on July 30, only for it to be pushed back once more.
