TRAGsoft is cooking up something new for its monster-taming RPG, Coromon, with a roguelike twist. The game studio has announced its upcoming game, Coromon: Rogue Planet, for almost all platforms, including Android. The game is expected to launch in 2025.
As of now, we know what the game will bring for you. And of course, they’ve dropped a new trailer accompanying the announcement so that we all can get a sneak peek of what’s coming our way. Before I show you that, let me break down a few features of Coromon: Rogue Planet.
The game will have turn-based combat (classic Coromon style) mixed with roguelite mechanics. You’ll get to explore the Veluan wilderness with over ten biomes that keep changing every time you dive in.
Coromon: Rogue Planet has a ‘rescue and recruit’ feature where you unlock different playable characters by helping them out in the wild. Seven characters, each with their own playstyle. You also get over 130 monsters with different elemental affinities, personalities and skills.
The game also has a meta-progression system. So, you get to keep upgrading your stuff to get stronger. You’ll be collecting resources and contributing to some interstellar spaceship mystery with other players as well.
So, watch the trailer below that TRAGsoft dropped when they announced Coromon: Rogue Planet.
All Coromon fans are excited. The gameplay looks promising, too, doesn’t it? While the exact release date is yet to be revealed, the official Steam page of the game is up. You can check it out if you want more details on the game.
Now that they’ve announced Coromon: Rogue Planet, we can expect them to open pre-registrations by the end of this year or early next year. So, till then we’ll have to wait and imagine what the game will look like on mobile.
