Chris Pine has joked in an interview about starring in Bee Gees biopic, given his new hair style. The actor, 41, boasts an impressive filmography, but many may nostalgically remember Pine from his film debut playing the dashing Lord Devereaux in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement back in 2004. The actor is also well known for his role as James T.Kirk in the rebooted Star Trek franchise, which earned the actor worldwide recognition and acclaim. Pine also starred as Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot in 2017's Wonder Woman and subsequent sequel Wonder Woman 1984, a role that cemented his mega-star status.
Pine's career shows no signs of slowing down, either. Last year, Pine wrapped shooting on the upcoming spy-thriller film All the Old Knives, to be released for streaming on Amazon Prime April 8th, 2022. The actor also stars in the highly-anticipated upcoming film Don't Worry Darling, a psychological thriller directed by Olivia Wilde and co-starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles. In 2023, audiences will see Pine star in a fantasy film Dungeons & Dragons, based on the famous role-playing game. Recently, however, Pine made headlines when he debuted a brand new look: long, 70s style salt and pepper hair and a thick, gray tipped beard.

At the recent premiere of his new film All The Old Knives, Pine spoke with ET Online about this new style. When asked if the change signalled an upcoming role, the actor replied coyly. In a phrase sure to keep curious fans on their toes, he quipped his newly found long hair was «equal parts laziness and equal parts something I may do in the future here.» Pine then pivoted the conversation to remark on his newfound resemblance
