The game is criminally underrated, as it offers some of the most fun, bombastic, and surprisingly strategic medieval melee combat out there. Of the four classes, the Knight is the most geared for close-quarters fights, though the best Knight weapons in Chivalry 2 sacrifice defense for sheer power. The Battle Axe, for example, hits like a truck but leaves players open with its long attack animation. The Longsword, on the other hand, can be paired with a Shield, though it of course deals far less damage. Be sure to try out all of the options, even the bad ones, to figure out what playstyle works for you.
