Before we tell you how to change the icon spacing, you can know that if you see the icons on your Windows 11 desktop spaced far apart, this is mainly because of Microsoft's design choice. Also, you cannot change it or customize it from the desktop or laptop's settings. You will have to try the tricks and methods provided here.

It can be known that the vertical and horizontal space between the icons are fixed and unchangeable by default. However, by using the below mentioned ways you will be able to change the vertical and horizontal icon spacing in Windows 11. Here is all you need to know.

Switch on your Windows 11 desktop or laptop and press Windows + R to open the Run dialogue. Alternatively you can also give a right click on the Start icon on the taskbar of your system and then select the Run option.
