The only game missing from Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is the original Rival Schools – but it’s hard to complain too heavily when you’re talking about a bundle featuring the two Power Stone titles and Capcom vs SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001.
Due out in 2025, this is another insane PS4 retro compilation from Capcom, featuring the following eight stone-cold classics:
As you’d expect from a modern Capcom collection, you’ll find artwork, a music player, and a training mode in addition to the original experiences, preserved with graphics filters and other quality of life improvements. Most importantly of all, though, all of the titles will be updated with online play and rollback netcode.
In addition, if you’re more of a casual player and concerned about the difficulty of these retro re-releases, Capcom is implementing a new one-button control scheme which will make it easier for you to perform special moves in many of the titles. You won’t be able to use this feature in ranked matches online, but it should help you to better enjoy the single player content.
This follows on from the previous Capcom Fighting Collection, which also featured a superb array of cult classics, including five Darkstalkers titles and much more.
