Melee Executions are one of the most enjoyable features of Call of Duty: Warzone. Sneaking up behind an opponent or catching them unaware and getting an easy elimination is a rare victory on its own. Being on the opposite side of an Execution in Call of Duty: Warzone, however, is equally intense, just in the opposite direction. It can be devastating to lose a Call of Duty match to an Execution when one is close to winning. Luckily, it seems some Call of Duty: Warzone players have discovered a way to escape an Execution after its started.
Before any Call of Duty: Warzone players start getting anxious, the «strat» isn't necessarily going to be useful, especially in the heat of battle. That doesn't make it any less interesting, though. A Reddit post from user SilentEnigma09 shows how the strategy works with a video, shown from the perspective of two different players; one player does the Melee Execution and the other escapes. They do this through a well-timed usage of a Stim.

The timing really is the start and end of this strategy. In order for it to be effective, it looks like the Call of Duty: Warzone player has to use their Stim as soon as the Execution begins. If they do that, instead of the Execution going through, the target will escape and can run away like normal. It's not a safe scenario, but it's better than dying immediately to an Execution.
The Reddit thread's top comment is a reasonable statement that this type of scenario could be impossible to see happen in-game.
