Industry insider Tom Henderson has revealed a look at the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 map in a mock-up image that showcases a large player space and several points of interest. Henderson shared leaked details about the Warzone 2 map just last week, including information regarding points of interest that range from an observatory and oilfield to a graveyard and shipwreck. Plus, in corroborating details outlined in a video by YouTuber NerosCinema, Henderson also claimed the Warzone sequel will feature approximately 25 to 30 Strongholds boasting objectives that players must complete to unlock their loadouts.
While Activision Blizzard has yet to formally unveil a second Warzone title, the publisher did note in its first quarter earnings report for 2022 that it plans to reveal a new "new free-to-play Warzone experience" later in the year. Developer Infinity Ward is building the free-to-play title in question from the ground up alongside the recently teased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which will hit PC and consoles this fall on October 28. At present, there exists no word on when exactly the next phase of Warzone may go live.

Writing for Try Hard Guides (via Wccftech), reputable Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson shared a recreation of what he claims represents the Warzone 2 map based on the "main features." Features such as roads don't appear in the mock-up, but viewers can still glimpse various POIs, railroad tracks denoted by a thick black line, and surrounding water areas marked by large splotches of blue.
