Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Confirmed for Release This Year

Developers at Activision Blizzard have confirmed Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 for release later this year and that the existing Warzone experience will remain next to it for the foreseeable future. Because Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will exist simultaneously with the original Warzone, players will be able to hop in and out of whichever version they see fit.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leaks have been drip-fed for a while, but the game has been officially confirmed with a reveal trailer detailing aspects of the game, including stealthy campaign missions and potential weapons in the latest arsenal. This means that even though Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be a new stand-alone experience, it will match the relevant Call of Duty just like previous iterations of the original Warzone.
