Bloober Team has officially announced that it is entering the production phase of a new game, one that is codenamed Project M. The game, which has not yet been properly unveiled, has been in pre-production for over a year now, Bloober Team said.
Little is known about Project M, but it is very likely that it will be an entry in the survival horror genre or horror in general. In addition to the confirmation that Project M is being produced, Bloober Team also announced that the studio Draw Distance, known for being the creators of Serial Cleaners, has been selected as the developer of Project M.

Bloober Team has become known as the developer of the Silent Hill 2 Remake. The studio is known for its psychological horror titles such as The Medium while it is also at work on new title Layers of Fears. Last month, Bloober Team allayed the fears of Silent Hill 2 fans when it promised that it is taking a "very safe approach" to the remake.
Draw Distance meanwhile is the developer behind Serial Cleaners, a stealth game that has players cleaning up murder scenes. The title was well received and we at TheGamer scored Serial Cleaners 3.5/5 and said the stealth was satisfying if a little easy while the game told a good story. The Polish developer has previously made Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York, a single-player experience set in the licensed universe of Vampire: The Masquerade; and Steam title Ritual: Crown of Horns, an action game set in an alternate Wild West.
Not much is known about the Project M production other than that Bloober Team and Draw Distance are collaborating on the project. But we may learn soon what the game is all about.
