The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has seen loads of mod support over the past seven years, but it goes without saying that a new mod giving Geralt of Rivia the ability to fart on command is one of the silliest yet. Even so, serious players may want to actually consider installing it, as the benefits it brings to The Witcher 3 extend beyond lending a new meaning to every time Geralt says “wind’s howling.”
Chances are most players are familiar with the game’s toxicity system. Downing The Witcher 3’s various potions and decoctions can provide all sorts of helpful buffs while fighting monsters and exploring, but doing so gradually fills up the toxicity gauge and starts draining Geralt’s health when completely full. It’s a system meant to balance potion usage, sure, but it can prove to be a hassle when one finds themself needing another drink in the middle of a long and difficult battle.

Enter Wild Hunt's “Farting Geralt” mod, which gives players an easy way to get rid of toxicity in perhaps the most childish way possible: through the power of flatulence. By simply pressing the C key (this can be re-mapped if one chooses), Geralt can fart the toxins out of his body, allowing players to avoid the negative effects of potion overuse. It’s the latest creation of thepowerlies, who’s done some other strange things with Witcher 3 mods while also easing up some of the game’s more restrictive systems like weight limit and weapon durability. With this gassy mod, players can get the best of both sides.
