Almost everyone interested in the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is tuning into the game's ongoing beta testing phase, but there have been some bugs. This is part-and-parcel for COD games' beta phases for the most part, but it certainly makes for some fascinatingly bizarre mid-match situations every so often.
In fact, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been having some lighting and smoke rendering problems, and one player was unlucky enough to come across the most serious variant of this problem the community has seen yet. Their screen completely filled up with smoke seemingly out of the blue, making it impossible to continue playing the game.

Reddit user llWhiskeySourll posted his experience with what seems like massively bugged volumetric rendering. What makes it somewhat hilarious, however, is the fact that a wholly different bug allows certain Modern Warfare 2 scopes see through smoke. In effect, this means it's completely plausible that someone had a perfectly clear sight of what llWhiskeySourll was doing, all the while they themselves couldn't see much of anything at all.
The second weekend of Modern Warfare 2's beta added more maps and other assorted content, as well as allowing PC and Xbox players to jump into the fray. With more platforms and players being invited to try the game out, it was only a matter of time until more bugs and issues were revealed, which should allow Infinity Ward to patch things up ahead of the game's late October release date.
