Longtime viewers are looking forward to watching another season of power struggles, game strategy, and fun competitions once Big Brother 24 premieres on CBS over the summer of 2022. While the network has yet to officially confirm that BB24 is happening, production is moving right along as it does every year and the season is expected to premiere in 2022. In fact, the casting team behind the show has been accepting applications since Big Brother 23 came to an end.
After the lukewarm Big Brother 22: All-Stars season in 2020, BB23 was able to redeem the series in terms of compelling cast members, interesting gameplay, well-received twists, and a historic alliance such as the Cookout. The latest season also raised the grand prize of the show for the first time in history to $750,000. As a result, the fans' expectations are now quite high for how Big Brother 24 will play out this summer.

When analyzing the premiere dates for recent seasons of the show, Big Brother 24 is expected to premiere either on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 or Wednesday, July 6, 2022 on CBS. The Big Brother casting process doesn't usually have a final application deadline, but producers are expected to be narrowing down potential BB24 players between May and June 2022 — at least a month ahead of the season premiere. Just like season 23, no returning houseguests are expected for season 24. This should once again be an all-new cast of first-time players who either submitted their applications or were approached by producers.
