Battlefield 2042 Special Event Coming in October
EA has recently announced that a special event called Liquidators will be coming to Battlefield 2042 in mid-October and will feature new game modes and cosmetic items. This event will be coming after the update to Battlefield 2042's second season of content, and will include infantry-based gameplay experiences. Little is currently known about the event, but EA has promised to reveal more information about the special event soon.
Many fans are focused on Battlefield 2042's Season 2 update, which launches on September 27 and will fix issues with popular maps, address helicopter and bullet inconsistencies, and bring new vehicles to the field. The upcoming special event, however, shouldn't be overlooked. In a special image from EA, fans can see some sort of goo exploding behind a player wearing a hazmat suit and a mask. Though brief, the official statement from EA about the October event mentions that all the content will be infantry-only. Players should expect small maps, close-quarters combat, and no access to vehicles. While the Battlefield Season 2 Battle Pass just delivered new content to fans, it's hard to deny that 2042 has needed more engaging content.
