Attack on Titan Cosplay Makes the Armored Titan's Impossible Body a Reality
An awesome new cosplay of Attack on Titan'sArmored Titan brings Eren Jaeger's arch-rival to life in eye-popping detail and realism, producing a costume that's manga-accurate in ways many would have guessed were impossible.
The Armored Titan is one of the Nine Titans who were brought about after Ymir Fritz, the Founding Titan, died and her remains were eaten by her daughters. As the name suggests, the Armored Titan's body is covered with armor-like sections of skin that allow it to sustain an incredible amount of stress and damage without hindering its ability to fight. It also has the ability to «harden» its fingers and toes, giving it razor-sharp claw-like abilities. Despite its armor, the titan is incredibly fast and agile.

In a post to Reddit's r/cosplay group page, Belgian cosplayer Hartigan Cosplay showcased an exceptionally realistic Armored Titan suit. The suit, which Hartigan explains is made out of latex, upholstery foam, and expanding foam, includes the Armored Titan's iconic glowing eyes and a moving jaw with teeth. Fans will note the importance of the Armored Titans' jaw as it was used by Reiner to bite Eren out of the Attack Titan and escape certain defeat during their first fight. The creator shares in comments under the video that it took a staggering 350 hours to create, however this level of commitment is clear in the end product.
