In this guide, we are going to take a look at what you should do with debris. Additionally, we will cover how you should handle larger pieces of debris that cannot be picked up. It's important to know that if you find debris that appears to be an old platform or rover, you will not be able to restore it.
Debris can be found everywhere. Broken structures and items can be found on every planet, whether on the surface or underground. You do not have to travel too far to find some debris.
When you find debris, it will vary in size. Regardless of the size, hovering over the debris will display a message, telling you to recycle it into scrap.
Debris needs to be placed in a shredder, which will turn it into scrap.
There are three types of shredders available. Below, you can check out each variation, along with the resources needed to make it.
With a shredder built, you can now place debris in it. Doing so will turn the debris into scrap, which can then be traded, but we will cover that later.
Next, let's go over what you should do if the debris you want to turn into scrap is too large for a shredder.
If your scrap is too big for the shredder, you can break it into smaller pieces with dynamite. To do this, simply place the debris far from any existing structures, and then place dynamite next to it.
After a short delay from activating the dynamite, the debris will explode and break into smaller pieces
