Asmongold has never been one to hold back when it comes to his opinions, and that was the case as he has given his thoughts on the recent controversies surrounding fellow Twitch streamers CrazySlick and Mizkif. It has been the proverbial «hot topic» for many of the top streamers on Twitch, many of whom have some type of connection with Slick or Mizkif and have been sharing their respective thoughts. However, Asmongold's thoughts may be some of the harshest as the controversies hit home given the involvement of his fellow OTK founder and one of their mutual friends.

While playing World of Warcraft on a recent stream, Asmongold did not appear to hold back when talking about CrazySlick following his gambling controversy and alleged sexual assault of streamer Adrianah Lee at a party in 2021. Asmongold launched into a curse-filled tirade while reading Slick's Twitter post responding to Adrianah's accusation, punctuated by telling Slick on stream «I hope you die.» When viewers asked if he was serious or meant inside World of Warcraft, Asmongold doubled-down on his stance.
