It’s been a while since FromSoftware provided any substantial news on Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, revealed at The Game Awards 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Nevertheless, it seems that development is on track – the action title was recently rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee in South Korea, as discovered by Gematsu.
The rating application was received on April 7th, while the review date was today. It was noted to have Mild Violence with a “Representation of attacks and explosions using various weapons” (translation via DeepL). It’s playable by those aged 12 years and up, which translates to minor violence, improper language, etc.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is rumored to release in late September, though it could instead arrive sometime in October. While such ratings don’t guarantee an upcoming announcement, FromSoftware could make one at upcoming showcases like Summer Game Fest on June 8th. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
