The first level in Arise: A Simple Story is She. While playing through this level, you will manipulate time to raise the water and melt snow, creating new paths. Because this is the first level in the game, it also serves as an introduction to the game's mechanics.

She contains five memories, providing additional insight to the story and the life of the main character. In this guide, we are going to take a look at where you can find all five of these memories. Overall, these memories are not too difficult to reach; you just need to do a bit of exploring.

This first memory is quite simple to reach. Unlike other memories in later chapters, this one is right on the main path and you do not have to venture too far to find it.

While going through the level, you will come across a rock with a small statue sitting on top. This will trigger a small cutscene; once this ends, head to the right on the rock pillars that are submerged in the water. Using time manipulation, lower the water and jump between the rocks until you reach the other side. In the image above, you can see the correct path that you should be on.

From here, walk along the beach and hop onto the wood to the right. Once on this wood, raise the water and continue to jump onto rock pillars until you come to a second piece of wood that can be lifted to take you to a grassy platform.

You can find the memory on the right side of this platform, on top of a tall rock. To get here, manipulate time until this area is filled with snow. With a tall snow pile, you can jump onto the middle rock and then over to the rock with the memory.
