Animal Crossing: New Horizons players make use of the NookPhone repeatedly throughout the day, but there are improvements that can be made in the next Animal Crossing game that could make the NookPhone even better. Players use their NookPhone to access all kinds of apps, including the camera and access to terraforming, but it could easily do more in the next game. Depending on the setting of the next game, there are endless opportunities to make players' in-game experience more enjoyable.
Tom Nook developed the NookPhone in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the player to use to communicate with him and access special features. Since the game's release, the NookPhone has been updated with new features a few times, including the addition of Island Life 101 with tips for island living and the Happy Home Network which is an addition for players with the Happy Home Paradise DLC, a Sims-like addition to the game.

While the NookPhone has many different apps that players can take advantage of, there is so much more that it could do in the next Animal Crossing game. Many of the game's possible improvements could easily be made using the NookPhone platform. More integration with the NookLink, which connects players to the app on their real mobile device, would also be ideal.
