EA and Respawn Entertainment have officially revealed season 12 of Apex Legends with a "Defiance" launch trailer, giving players a sneak peek at the brutal new Legend Mad Maggie and the many changes coming to the game's Olympus map. The acclaimed free-to-play multiplayer shooter, Apex Legends continues to receive updates in the form of new Legends and maps, and its latest "Escape" season added to the experience with new quality-of-life additions. This included a brand new map, the new playable Legend Ash, and the introduction of the C.A.R. SMG to the Apex Games.
In a brand-new Apex Legends launch trailer, Respawn Entertainment has given an in-depth look at the upcoming season 12 titled "Defiance." The trailer introduces the new season's playable Legend Mad Maggie, who appears to be a vicious warlord sentenced to death by being put into the Apex Games. Shown in Maggie's "Stories from the Outlands," the father of Apex Legends character Octane, Eduardo Silva also makes an appearance and is seen setting off a time bomb after being attacked by Maggie, sending the game's floating city Olympus map crashing down below. While information is currently scant, it appears that numerous changes are coming to the map in Season 12 and could foreshadow the search for Mr. Silva.
