Apex Legends has been giving battle royale fans a chance to push themselves to the limit since its release in early 2019. However, some of the game's most memorable features have turned out to either be bugs or deeply connected to bugs, which may explain why some players appear to seek out bugs over and over. One of these bugs allows Apex Legends players to launch themselves into the game's upper atmosphere, and players have recently discovered how to use this exploit even in Season 12.
Although Apex Legends contains a number of unique features that put a fresh spin on the battle formula, at least one fan-favorite feature--the ability to run while looting--was not intended to be part of the final game. Apparently, it was a bug missed during testing. However, fans love this feature, and Respawn Entertainment has confirmed it has no plans to fix the bug.

The ability to launch players into space is another Apex Legends bug that players appear to be quite fond of, but Respawn Entertainment has made a more serious effort to patch this glitch out. Redditor hotntasty_ and YouTuber Dirty Skirty shared the most recent iteration of this bug as of Season 12, which requires players to jump through a few hoops before launching themselves sky-high. According to Dirty Skirty, this is the most effective version of the launch glitch they've encountered so far.
