Animal Crossing: New Horizons Player Comes Up With Ridiculous Tool To Craft Items
Redditor thelordofgifts shared a screenshot of the part of their island that has been dedicated to recreating the look and feel of Crash Bandicoot. At a glance, the image shows thick jungle merging into a display of lush palm trees, seemingly floating platforms, and brightly glowing crates. The result bears a striking similarity to the landscape of the Wumpa Islands, complete with the 3D platforming areas Crash Bandicoot is known for.
The area includes a rectangular pond with small, squared-off islands featuring what seems to be drawings of the Crash Bandicoot platform designs leading the player forward. Similar designs continue on solid ground in two directions: off to the right, into the woods, and forward up to a large platform patterned like a red mushroom with white spots.
